Published 1982

168. A CONVERSATION WITH DR. SPOCK

Dr. Benjamin Spock's name became universally known after his book
"Baby and Child Care" was published, selling 26 million copies
and being translated into 26 languages. Dr. Spock also is famous
for his anti-war struggles from the l960s to the present. He
reveals many little-known facts: why he wrote his book; how he
became involved in the anti-war movement; his being sentenced to
two years in jail; his relationship with Lyndon Johnson; why he
is a socialist; and his experiences in running for US President.
